Second in the American continent as Under 18s and with qualification already in their pocket for next year's U19 World Championships. It is the result achieved by Bruno Farias e Tomas Fernandez Lang inAmeriCup U18 played in the week just ended in Buenos Aires and ended with their defeat Argentina in the final against the United States (70-110).

After second place in the qualifying group behind the USA themselves and ahead of Brazil and Belize, the Argentine national team won the very important quarter-final against the third of the other group, Venezuela (79-75), guaranteeing not only the passage to the semi-finals but also the consequent pass to the next U19 World Championships in Switzerland. In the semi-final the success against the Dominican Republic (75-66) opened the doors to the final for the American title lost against the undefeated Americans.

Personal satisfactions too for the two Bianconeri Lions. The summer of the Argentine representatives for the Derthona Basket youth sector did not end here.
