Towards Openjobmetis Varese-Bertram Derthona: the words of coach Ramondino
Bertram Derthona's third championship match is approaching, and they will challenge the Openjobmetis Varese in the scheduled match Sunday, October 15 20.30 hours at the 'Lino Oldrini' Sports Hall.
Presenting the characteristics of the next opponents and the type of race that will need to be played was coach Marco Ramondino: “The type of approach to the match will be very important, in an away match against a team with the structure and ability of Varese. We will need to be balanced and continuous throughout the forty minutes, without looking for particular plays as Openjobmetis is good at running and playing in transition".
Compared to last year's version of Varese, the Juventus head coach highlighted the differences present this season: “Last season Openjobmetis was oriented towards taking advantages with perimeter players, while the big players were mainly involved in finishing. This year, however, the attack passes through Cauley-Stein: he is a player who, despite not attempting many shots, creates play from the perimeter and from the tip with his ability to handle the ball. The pitch is very open thanks to the shooters, but the style of play is different than in 2022/23.".
