Towards Openjobmetis Varese-Bertram Derthona: the words of coach Ramondino
Bertram Derthona's third league match is approaching, as they face Openjobmetis Varese in the match scheduled for Sunday, October 15th at 8:30 pm at the Palazzetto dello Sport 'Lino Oldrini'.
Coach Marco Ramondino presented the characteristics of the next opponents and the type of game they will face : "The approach to the game will be very important, in an away game against a team with Varese's structure and ability. We'll need to be balanced and consistent throughout the forty minutes, without looking for any unusual moves, as Openjobmetis is good at running and playing in transition . "
Compared to last year's Varese, the Juventus head coach highlighted the differences this season: "Last season, Openjobmetis focused on taking advantage with perimeter players, while the big men were primarily involved in finishing. This year, however, the offense is being handled by Cauley-Stein: he's a player who, while not attempting many shots, creates play from the perimeter and from the tip with his ball handling. The court is very open thanks to the shooters, but the style of play is different than it was in 2022/23 . "
