Towards Junior Casale – Bertram Derthona. Coach Lorenzo Pansa: “The match against Casale represents an extremely important test for us”

It's derby time for Bertram Derthona, guest tomorrow at 18.00pm at the PalaFerraris in Casale Monferrato of league leaders Novipiù Junior. In the Juventus home, the debut of the new arrival Mirza Alibegovic will be recorded, who will regularly take to the field with the number 7 shirt.

These are the words of coach Lorenzo Pansa, born and trained in Casale, on his first return as an opponent on the parquet which saw him take his first steps: “The match against Casale represents an extremely important test for us at a particular moment of the season. We come from a match in which we presented all the best and worst of ourselves, it will be important to verify our emotional impact on the match and our ability to withstand the impact against what has proven to be the most solid and continuous team of the our group. We face it with the ambition of competing with the top of the class, trying to bring home two points which for us would be extremely important for the ranking and for the awareness of our means".

The Juventus coach wanted to focus on the opponents: “It's a team that has built its own path over four years of work and which this year has led it to excel despite a long series of injuries. They have great physicality, both in the long and wide players, talent and experience in players like Tomassini, Sanders, Blizzard, Martinoni and a series of young players who, with their constant growth, have been able to carve out an important role for themselves. They occupy the pitch excellently and have a great ability to dirty up opposing offensive situations by playing with hardness and intensity. We will have to be good at playing our offensive situations with rhythm and precision and be solid and attentive against their main collaborations."

The last thought concerns the Juventus fans: "The ambition to compete and the support of our public will have to give us the decisive push to make up for the technical and physical gap to try to return to Tortona with two points".
