Towards game 3 of the semi-final against Virtus Segafredo Bologna: the words of coach Ramondino

Just over 24 hours until the start of game 3 of the playoff semi-final against Virtus Segafredo Bologna for Bertram Derthona, who will take to the pitch at 21pm tomorrow, Friday 2 June.

The analysis of coach Marco Ramondino started from the two matches at the Virtus Segafredo Arena: “Game 2, although better than game 1, was not sufficient for this level: the clearest and most obvious thing when you meet great teams like Virtus Segafredo Bologna is that mistakes and missed passes are made to pay. This is the big lesson to learn to try to extend the series, limiting unforced errors as we are competing at such a high level that missed passes are made to pay. In game 3 we will have to have a different presence and continuity".

“You can't limit everything against teams like Virtus Bologna – concludes the Juventus head coach – and certain choices we make against some players expose us to other types of solutions. In terms of internal play and with certain choices we can suffer, but in the first two matches there isn't a single aspect that hurt us. Furthermore, in game 2, we did not play fluidly on offense between the first and second quarters.".

Bertram Derthona communicates that, with the exception of Semaj Christon and Grant Basile, all the players are available to coach Ramondino for game 3 of the semi-final.
