Towards Bertram Derthona – NPC Rieti. Coach Lorenzo Pansa: “In the first leg they put us in difficulty. We will have to be good at limiting their potential"

Bertram Derthona returns to PalaOltrepo' after the important victory at PalaBarbuto with the intention of continuing the positive streak. The Lions will in fact be expected tomorrow, Sunday 18 February, at 18pm against NPC Rieti for the twenty-second day of the championship.

Coach Lorenzo Pansa wanted to focus on the opponents: "Rieti is in full fight for a place in the play offs, boasts a strong technical identity, comes from an important home victory and already in the first leg it put us in great difficulty in the final part of the meeting. The quintet has a very important tonnage and makes the danger in the low post its main characteristic. However, players who are capable of changing pace and who pose great danger outside the three-point range come off the bench. We will have to be good at limiting their potential inside the area and playing extremely clear and cynical basketball in attack, going beyond their ability to dirty up games thanks to the aggression and physicality they know how to bring to the pitch."

The Juventus coach then wanted to focus on the NPC Rieti roster: “When we talk about danger inside the area we refer to Tommasini, Hearst, Olasewere and Gigli. The latter also know how to have moments where they add great offensive danger with all-round gusts. They can then count on Marcos Casini and Nicola Savoldelli, players who have the ability to enter the game in progress and bring great energy to the pitch, splitting games with their three-point shots."
