Towards Bertram Derthona-Dolomiti Energia Trentino: the words of coach Ramondino
First championship eve for Bertram Derthona who tomorrow, Sunday, October 2, at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris will challenge the Dolomites Energy Trentino. The tap-off of the match is scheduled for 17 hours.
This week the Bianconeri were involved in the 2022 Frecciarossa Supercoppa, an adventure that ended with defeat in the semi-final at the hands of Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari. Regarding that race, coach Marco Ramondino commented as follows: 'It was a match from which more positive things emerged than negative, and in which the moments of confusion and decline in quality in choices and execution were lower than expected. The team hasn't had a continuous preseason, so I think it's normal to see the consequences of what you do in training in the game. The ability to compete and the attitude were excellent, we must eliminate individual and collective mistakes.".
Moving on to the presentation of the championship opener, the head coach described Trento's qualities as follows: “We face a team that has large and imposing players, even if they are not very tall. Trento can field a quintet with Flaccadori, Lockett, Crawford, Grazulis and Atkins that has high-level physicality and athleticism. After struggling a bit last year, the team coached by Molin has equipped itself to compete in the EuroCup too. Due to a delay in the condition or physical disparity we can suffer some situations, so we will have to play a match in which the physical impact starts from the mental attitude and presence".
Bertram Derthona communicates that Riccardo Tavernelli is back at coach Ramondino's disposal and will be in the group for tomorrow's match, while JP Macura continues his recovery work from his injury, followed by the Club's medical staff, therefore he will not take part in the match against Dolomiti Energia Trentino.
