Towards Banco di Sardegna Sassari-Bertram Derthona: the words of coach Ramondino
Championship eve for Bertram Derthona, awaiting the match at Bank of Sardinia Sassari, the current fourth-placed team in the championship, six points behind the Bianconeri, scheduled for 19.30 hours of tomorrow, Sunday March 26, at the PalaSerradimigni.
Presenting the characteristics of the team coached by Piero Bucchi was, as usual, coach Marco Ramondino: “Sassari is one of the teams, if not the team, in best shape in the championship. Fresh from six consecutive victories and eight in the last nine games, they are first in Serie A for points per possession, they have the best offensive efficiency, many qualities that are expressed effectively, with many players involved. Banco di Sardegna presents a tactical structure in which the field is very open, having Bendzius - a very high level shooter - in position '4' and two big men like Stephens and Diop who are very good at playing the pick'n'roll and forcing the defense to collapse in the area. These aspects, in addition to the ability of many players to attack the area, explain Sassari's high three-point shooting percentage.".
