A look at the future: Leonardo Okeke arrives at Derthona

Continuing along this path, the Club announces that it has reached a five-year agreement with Leonardo Arinze Okeke, player born in 2003 who grew up in the youth sector of College Borgomanero.
After completing his entire youth career at the Novara club, the winger made his senior debut in the College jersey in the 2019/20 season, in the C Gold championship. Furthermore, in the year just ended, Leonardo was the protagonist of the successes of the white and blue team: decisive in the Under 18 Eccellenza Regionale final, in which his 33 points led Borgomanero to success over Novipiù Campus Piemonte and important for promotion to Serie B - at the end of the final won against Messina - of the first team coached by Stefano di Cerbo.
Okeke, in 2020/21, also took the field with Mamy Oleggio, a team playing in Serie B, on seven occasions, averaging 4.9 points and 5.1 rebounds. He now arrives at Bertram Derthona to continue his growth.
