THEU19 Excellence qualifies for the National Finals in Rome as winner of Group 4 National. The black and white team was missing a victory to finish at the top of the group and with this victory, the Lions reach the goal for the second consecutive year.
On the penultimate day of the championship, the match against the Piedmont team at the PalaCamagna in Tortona was never in doubt, the final score of 80-44 thus certifies the twenty-second victory out of 23 games and the first final place of Allianz Derthona. A performance to be highlighted by Andrija Josovic, best scorer of the match and author of a double double by putting on the scoresheet 22 points (6/7 from two, 3/3 from three) and 11 assists.
Together with College Borgomanero, the Lions will fly directly to the National Finals that will be held in Rome. After the second place overall in the Legabasket Next Gen Cup, and the mathematical salvation achieved with the qualification to the Play-In Gold in the senior championship of Serie B Interregionale, this represents another prestigious result for the black and white group this season.
