A day with the MiniFAL
Always attentive to social issues and the valorization of the territory, a delegation of Derthona Basket athletes was a guest on November 3, 2021 at the MiniFAL, a reality that deals with adults affected by disabilities.
Born in 2013 to meet the needs of CHILDREN and theirs families,Friends Association coordinates the MiniFAL group which wants to be a place where adults can spend time together and build strong bonds, with the aim of developing socialization and mutual support between users.
The children are followed by some psychologists who propose activities aimed at stimulating each other's personal autonomy and to strengthen their resources. Dai's contribution to MiniFAL was decisive and valuable volunteers.
On Wednesday the Juventus delegation, of which they were part JP Macura, Tyler Cain and Luca Severini was welcomed by the boys and girls of the group with a choir dedicated to the team.
It was a moment to get to know one of the most important realities of the city of Tortona and to answer the questions and curiosities of the MiniFAL group, in an engaging atmosphere. The Bertram Derthona first team players then honored the boys and girls with some DB logoed gadgets, garnering smiles and great enthusiasm from the group, who actively participated in the day.
The morning ended with a visit to the MiniFAL premises and gym, where the players and boys spent some moments of shared play before the group photo and the invitation to attend the Lions' training sessions and matches. With the satisfaction and smile on the face of Piergiorgio Pacquola, president of the group.
