A Ghisolfi Trophy with an international flavour: the Goyang Orions arrive at the PalaCamagna
The next Bertram Derthona pre-season match is fast approaching, which will take place on Wednesday 18 September 2019 at 19.30 pm at the PalaCamagna in Tortona against the Goyang Orions (South Korea formation). The challenge will be valid as V Guido Ghisolfi Trophy, now a traditional Lions preseason event.
This is an international challenge, which will see the team led by Marco Ramondino opposed to the team playing in the KBL (Korean Basketball League): founded in 1995, the Koreans have won the Korean championship twice in their history as well as having consecutively reached the playoffs in the last seven seasons. Coached by Choo Il Seung, the Orions can boast within their roster an old acquaintance of Italian basketball, that Marcus Landry seen in Brescia between 2016 and 2018 and MVP of Serie A in the 2016/17 season, of which he was also the best scorer at 19.6 points on average.
For Juventus fans it will be the first opportunity of the season to watch a Lions match at the PalaCamagna; also increasing interest in the match is the opponent, Goyang Orions, who will carry out part of their preparation in Italy in view of the departure of the KBL.
The match will be free to enter and will be broadcast live on the site www.radiopnr.it and on the Radio PNR YouTube channel.
