New prestigious chapter in the history of Bertram Derthona, which on Sunday 10 March will take the field at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome against Virtus, current leaders of the West Group: with its 10500 seats it is the largest arena in which the Lions have never played in their history.
It is one of the historic arenas of Italian basketball, where important pages of basketball have been written. The Palazzo dello Sport in Rome surpasses the PalaCalafiore in Reggio Calabria (8450 seats) as the largest arena in which the Bianconeri have played a match. It is the fourth largest sports facility in Italy for basketball competitions, preceded only by the Palasport Olimpico in Turin, the Mediolanum Forum in Assago and the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno.
