Marco Lusvarghi made official: center born in 1997 arriving from Roseto

Bertram Derthona communicates that it has included the athlete in its roster Marco Lusvarghi, 200cm forward/centre born in 1997. A native of Reggio Emilia, Marco is a product of the youth sector of the Reggio Emilia basketball. After a first senior experience in Serie C between Correggio and Castelfranco Emilia, in 2016/17 he joined the roster of Stings Mantua, with which he faced Derthona in playoff of Serie A2 together with another player who today wears black and white, Lorenzo Gergati.
Last season he moved to Roseto, again in the East group of A2, where he collected twenty-one appearances.

This is the introduction of the manager of the Juventus technical area Gianluca Petronio: “With the addition of Marco we complete the core of the Italians and the long department. He will be the only under of the team and will play a complementary role which we consider very demanding and mutually important”;

“the player, in his good and similar experience in Roseto, has demonstrated that he knows how to effectively share his basketball activity with a demanding university course and with his passion for IT; his determination and his great motivation in accepting our proposal struck us in an extremely positive way”.

Thus Marco Lusvarghi: “The Bertram Derthona project is very ambitious. I will be ready to give my all in every single training session, convinced that this season can be an excellent opportunity to grow individually, being able to be supported day after day by highly experienced players such as Luca Garri and Klaudio Ndoja."

In the 2016/2017 season, wearing a Stings Mantova jersey, Marco Lusvarghi faced Derthona Basket in the first round of the playoffs, this is his memory:

“After the two successes obtained in Mantua, we returned to Palaoltrepo' to play match 5. I remember a very warm crowd, which at the moment in which the match seemed like it could end in our hands, gave the decisive push in favor of the home team."
