The A2 Silver group is official
The group of the 2-2014 A15 Silver Series has been released by the Italian Basketball Federation: two Piedmontese in addition to Derthona, Omegna; three Lombard Legnano (newly promoted), Treviglio, Casalpusterlengo, one Venetian Treviso (purchased the title from Corato/Ruvo, North Barese); three from Emilia Imola (relegated), Ferrara and Ravenna; one from the Marche region Recanati, two from Abruzzo Chieti and Roseto; a Latina from Lazio (fished out); a Scafati bell (promoted); one from Lucania Matera and one from Calabria Reggio Calabria. Given the difficulties of Montegranaro who would have to give up the top flight, which would imply the consequent repechage of Casalpusterlengo in A1, it is probable that the Lombards will be replaced by Piacenza. The start of the championship is scheduled for October 5th. The final phase of the Italian Cup organized by the National Basketball League will be played on the weekend of 6-8 March 2015 at the Rimini Fair.
