Luca Ansaloni's boys snatch the pass in advance at least for the play-offs, waiting to play tomorrow for the chance to directly qualify for the quarter-finals.

Derthona also got off to a great start in the second game of Group D, with an impenetrable defense that once again prevailed, the Lions, with Josovic in great form, immediately took a 13-2 lead after the first five minutes of play. Coach Ansaloni's team then continued to score consistently and extended its lead, closing the first quarter at 28-7. In the second period, Tortona continued to dominate and, taking advantage of its superiority in the paint, with effective management of rebounds and fast transitions on the counterattack, reached the maximum momentary lead of 28 points. At halftime, the score was 43-18 in favor of Derthona, with Josovic and Di Meo protagonists in the first half of the match.

After a balanced return to the field, in the third quarter Tortona's defense becomes increasingly solid, forcing the opponents to lose several balls while managing to score some fun transition shots. The team enters the last ten minutes with a 31-point advantage, laying the foundations to get closer to the second victory. The final quarter only serves to define the result given the important margin of advantage accumulated by the Tortona team, thanks to another impeccable defensive performance and an evident supremacy in rebounds (52 rebounds in total). The game ends with a score of 78-57, which marks the second victory for Derthona in the National Finals and ensures their permanence beyond the group stage of the U19 Finals. Andrija Josovic is once again the protagonist, in MVP version from the first moments: for him 19 points (7/11 from the field), 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
