First away match and second success of the season: so far the progress of the Juventus U17 Eccellenza is clear after two days of the Ligurian-Piedmontese Group A of the first phase. After the large home victory against Basket Torino, the team coached by Luca Ansaloni won at the PalaEinaudi in Moncalieri against the hosts Novipiù Campus Piemonte, fresh from their winning debut on the My Basket Genova pitch (73-77).
Heart-pounding match in the exciting final, decided in the sprint by the attacking initiatives of Remigio Bellinaso (top scorer and MVP with 8 of the 27 total points scored in the fundamental phase of the fourth period), well supported by a display of great intelligence and concreteness from Pietro Lisini, in an intimidating version with the numerous blocks to his credit, and the constant rebounding presence of Gloris Tambwe, also the second best scorer of his team.
In the next round the young Bianconeri are still expected to play an away match, scheduled for Saturday 23 October at 17pm against Cus Torino.
