Towards Givova Scafati-Bertram Derthona: the words of coach Ramondino
Last external commitment of 2022 for Bertram Derthona, awaiting the challenge to Givova Scafati in the match scheduled for tomorrow evening, Sunday December 18, at 20.30 pm at the Beta Ricambi Arena.
The next opponents were introduced, as usual, by coach Marco Ramondino: “Scafati has made some important changes, both with a new coach and in the roster and hierarchies. For many years, coach Caja has been able to give an identity to his teams, made up of defensive reliability and the ability to reduce errors to a minimum. Givova is a solid, continuous and disciplined team: analyzing the roster, in terms of talent and experience, it doesn't seem like a newly promoted team but a team that I wouldn't be surprised to reach the Final Eight of the Italian Cup and qualify for the playoffs.".
On the technical characteristics of the Givova, the Juventus head coach commented as follows: “Scafati forces opponents to find the second or third offensive option, denying the immediate advantages generated by the pick'n'roll. In attack they are a disciplined team that executes the schemes well while pursuing their objectives, that loses few balls and that is difficult to make go off the rails.".
