Towards Bertram Derthona-Umana Reyer Venezia: the words of coach Ramondino and Wright
Bertram Derthona's last home match of 2021 is the prestigious match against Umana Reyer Venezia scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 18 December , at 20 pm at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris in Casale Monferrato.
Coach Marco Ramondino introduced the match, valid for the 11th round of the Serie A championship, analyzing Reyer's qualities: "When you prepare to face teams of the caliber of Venice, which in the recent past has won two Scudetti, an Italian Cup and a European Cup, it is difficult to concisely describe the qualities of an opponent built to compete in the league and the Eurocup. It is difficult to define the strengths of a team that has depth, quality of execution and a variety of solutions: for this reason, we will need a high-level match on our own things and flexibility in the options they choose ."
Chris Wright
Alongside the Juventus head coach, Chris Wright spoke at the press conference , speaking about Venice's qualities: "I think Reyer is a great team; in all the years I've played in Italy, they've always been competitive. They're a very tough opponent, with players who have been playing together for many years, so our defensive focus will have to be high. We'll need to limit the ups and downs, considering that this is a good test for us: we'll need to remain humble and respect the game and the opponents . "
