Todor Radonjic is the second addition to Derthona 2017/18
Orsi Derthona announces the signing of Todor Radonjic. 195 cm winger, born in 1997, Montenegrin by passport but Italian with basketball training, he played in Serie A2 with Veroli in 2014/15 and in Roseto last season. The full-time debut in a senior championship took place in 2015/16 in Serie B, with the Stella Azzurra Roma shirt (11.8 points in 27', with 6.1 rebounds and a good 35% from the three-point range), a club that brought him to Italy after his beginnings in Montenegro. After a good 20 Under2016 National Final, which ended with his inclusion in the best quintet of the event, Radonjic moved to Roseto, where he played 25 games with 16 minutes of average time (4 points and 2.2 rebounds on average).
Thus sporting director Miro De Giuli: "We are bringing in a young and promising player who has already accumulated a fair amount of playing experience in Serie A2 during the past season with the Roseto shirt. Precisely this knowledge of the championship, combined with the undoubted technical skills and the great desire to carve out his own space on the pitch that Todor showed us from the first conversations, led us to choose to focus on him and his desire to emerge to shore up the 2017/18 roster.”
