Today the finals of the Tortona International Baskin Tournament: the final day all at the Cittadella dello Sport
The EuroHoop 4 All 2.0 final will be Italy-Serbia, with Belux (mixed Belgium and Luxembourg) and France competing for the lowest step of the podium. These are the results of the day of competition of the International Baskin Tournament that is taking place in Tortona, organized by Derthona Basket and Associazione Baskin.
At PalaCamagna, in the two qualifying rounds of the “Veterans” category that saw 6 teams competing to reach the Final Four, the Serbian team took first place in Group A with a double victory over France (100-73) and Germany (72-26), while the transalpines prevailed over the Germans (63-42) to take second place. In Group B, supported by the cheering of the students from the Tortona schools who filled the two Camagna gyms, the Italians prevailed over Greece (90-64) and Belux (78-59), the latter then victorious in the sprint over the Greeks (69-67) to snatch the pass for the final day on Saturday.
The finals will be played today on the court of the facility of the Cittadella dello Sport “Marcellino e Pietro Gavio” in Tortona, starting at 15:15 for the final for third place and 17:30 for the match that will award the title. Both matches will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of Derthona Basket, Derthona Official Tv.
Before them, in the morning, the finals of the “New Bies” category will also be held in the Cittadella, in which a mix of the other 6 teams, who participated in yesterday's camp but did not participate in the main tournament, will compete against each other to qualify for the final scheduled around lunchtime against Piacenza Baskin.
The event will end with a convivial dinner at the Orsi Museum in Tortona.
