With training restarting in the last week of August after the summer break, the debut match against Campus Varese will take place before the end of the month. Interregional Serie B, a prestigious achievement at senior level achieved last year by the Juventus team entirely composed of the U19 Eccellenza, also protagonist of the arrival in the Final Four of Legabasket's Next Gen Cup.
But before that date, the Derthona Basketball Lab's calendar of friendly matches will be full, and this season too it will be at the starting line of youth tournaments with many teams. Including the three from Eccellenza who will try to fight until the end for access to the interregional and/or national phases, some with greater and some with fewer possibilities on paper. All after a summer that led the Juventus club presided over by Claudio Coffano, and led for the third year as technical manager by the coach Luca Ansaloni, to recruit other prospects of certain interest, such as the Montenegrin Andrija Josovic, in the ideal quintet of the last U17 Finals Excellence with the Pall. For the U15 Eccellenza team of Tosarelli and Nicola Pernigotti, a more local recruitment was carried out so that we don't forget who we are and where we come from. Obviously in future seasons we will work on this group as we did on the older age groups, implementing their abilities. techniques.
