Defeat for the Under 16 Eccellenza of Derthona, opposed to the league leaders Borgomanero: the Bianconeri played a good match, remaining in contact until the final minutes before surrendering to their opponents. In the first two quarters the guests try to produce a partial right from the start that allows them to direct the match, but the Lions respond blow for blow and go into halftime ten points behind (24-34). In the third period the hosts play good basketball on both sides of the court, while in the final the greater physical and athletic strength of the College makes the difference: the score with which the match ends is 76-56. The Lions must start again from the good things they showed in the third quarter of the game, but grow from the point of view of awareness as the season continues.

First defeat in the championship for the Under 15s of Derthona Basket, who fell on the Conte Verde Rivoli pitch. After a balanced first period, the hosts extended their lead starting from the second half by making use of their greater physical strength. What made the difference in Rivoli's favor were the offensive rebounds, which guaranteed numerous extra possessions: despite the reaction and determination shown throughout the entire match, the Bianconeri had to surrender to their opponents 73-51.

Success for the Under 14 Elite who beat Arona after extra time: the hosts started better in the first half of the game, producing an important break in the score (+14 at the first break). In the second quarter the Lions reacted and came back into contact with the score, going into halftime trailing by just 2 points. In the second half the match was balanced and in the final minutes some defensive distractions by the Derthona players allowed Arona to equalise: extra time was needed to decide the outcome of the match. In a point-to-point match, the young Bianconeri are rewarded by some good offensive and defensive solutions: the score which ends a very good match played openly by both teams is 90-86.
