Derthona: Buffo 11, Cremaschi 6, Paulinus 13, Ugolini 13, Dolcino, Lisini 15, Tchintcharauli 10, Moro 6. All. Talpo Ass. Gaudio
An important performance for the DNG team who, on the difficult Varese pitch, imposed their pace right from the start, reaching a double-digit lead thanks to Ugolini's initiatives. In the second half, Ugolini's injury shortened the rotations of coach Talpo's team, but the play of Moro and Tchintcharauli allowed the Bianconeri to maturely control their opponents' reaction: the final score was 70-74.

Seventh success in a row for the Bianconeri, who on the Legnano pitch found Cremaschi - well supported by Ugolini and Paulinus - the absolute protagonist of the match. In the second half the match was on a tightrope until three minutes before the siren when, thanks to Moro's exit due to five fouls and Lisini's injury, the guests took the upper hand thanks to the greater intensity put on the pitch.
