The new Lions of the youth team: Tommaso Diodati and Andrea Bresciani
Two more new faces in the youth sector of the Derthona Basketball. Together with Stefano Conte, Andrija Josovic, Marco Fogliato and Gabriele Fonio Fracchia, the summer recruitment also brought Tommaso Diodati e Andrea Bresciani.
Born in 2006, 197 cm wing guard, Diodati comes from a company with which the Tortona club is establishing increasingly close relationships: “Parma Basket Project is an emerging reality in the Emilia-Romagna basketball scene with which we have several initiatives in mind that we will develop in the near future. Tommaso is a boy with a very explosive physique, he did well last year in the U17 Eccellenza and with us he will be part of the U19 Eccellenza group which will also participate in the senior Interregional Serie B championship. I thank the president Massimo Guggia for his precious collaboration in bringing it to Tortona”, says the responsible manager Andrea Ablatico.
Arrived from Virtus Siena with whom he reached the U15 Eccellenza National Finals last year, averaging almost 16 points and 6 rebounds, Brescians he is a 2008 cm strong forward born in 202: “This year the U17 Eccellenza will play with us and will begin to join the U19 Eccellenza. He is certainly a prospect, he has been called up several times with the U15 national team, he has played in some brilliant national category finals. Through him we hope to establish a long-lasting collaborative relationship with Virtus Siena in the persons of Maurizio Lasi and Gabriele Voltolini".
