This is the welcome from president Roberto Tava: “I am very happy to be able to welcome Lorenzo. I am convinced that he brings great motivation and that he has the potential and the right spirit necessary to do well in Serie A2 too, after having obtained excellent results in the past three seasons in Serie B. I believe that Derthona could be his opportunity to achieve a further leap in quality; for our part, we are happy and proud to focus on a coach we know well and who we have been able to follow closely in his growth, from Casale to Borgo Sesia and, in the last season, to Moncalieri. We are motivated and eager to be able to build a new positive cycle like the previous one which saw us linked to Demis Cavina.”
Thus Lorenzo Pansa: “Being chosen by Derthona to lead the first team is a source of great pride and satisfaction for me. It is a company that I have been lucky enough to know since I was a boy, and to appreciate its passion and ambition, two characteristics we have in common. I thank the president Roberto Tava, Luigino Fassino, the management and the entire company, with a particular nod to the general manager Marco Picchi for the great demonstration of esteem shown to me in deeds and words."
Lorenzo Pansa will be presented at a press conference in the Romita room of the Municipality of Tortona on Wednesday 28 June at 12.00, in the presence of the management of the Juventus club and the sports councilor Vittoria Colacino.
