
“La Cittadella dello Sport Digital Academy” is underway: a training project dedicated to the sports industry
The official start is today, Tuesday 29 April 2025, Sports Citadel Digital Academy, the free training project promoted by Citadel of Sport e Derthona Basketball.
The Academy is dedicated to young people between 18 and 25 years old resident and domiciled in Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy and Valle d'Aosta and offers them the opportunity to take their first steps in the world of sports business.
Through a training course available for free on the AKTO app, participants will be able to discover the main areas of the sports industry thanks to content developed and curated by AWE Sports Education.
The program includes 12 modules dedicated to key topics in the sector: Sport Marketing, Sponsorship, Fan Experience, Event Management, Media, Sport Finance, Sport Tourism, Sport Law, Governance, Sport for Good, Sport Equipment and Esport.
Thanks to a game-based approach, with video lessons interspersed with quizzes, participants will be able to acquire practical skills, test themselves first-hand and get a concrete approach to the world of work in the sports industry.
The project will be active until July 27th, 2025 and, at the end, the 6 participants with the highest score in the final ranking they will have access to exclusive prizes designed to bring them closer to the world of sports business.
The top 3 will be able to attend an introductory interview with the properties involved and live a special work experience together with Derthona Basket, with the first place winner also receiving hospitality tickets for a game in the 2025-2026 season.
Participants ranked in fourth, fifth and sixth place will instead receive tickets for a Derthona Basket home game.
