FMS tests carried out by youth sector athletes
Important visit received by some players from the youth sector of Bertram Yachts Derthona, who this afternoon, Wednesday 13 November 2019, underwent the FMS (Functional Movement System) tests carried out by a delegation from the University of Pavia (section of Voghera) of the Sports Medicine Center, led by Luca Calanni, Cristian Zampella and the intern Simone Fornoni.
The FMS test to which the kids from the Juventus youth sector underwent is divided into seven different positions which allow a series of athlete data to be evaluated from the point of view of posture and joint mobility. They are precise tests that allow precise evaluations based on the exercise being carried out.
They are tests that are commonly carried out by people to evaluate their condition and to be able, through targeted exercises, to recover and improve the test, which is mainly based on movement and kinesthetic adaptation of the body.
For the Club it was an important opportunity for discussion to strengthen relations with the University of Pavia and to learn more about the nature of the FMS tests.
