The new logo for the technical material has been revealed
A new logo stands out on the playing uniforms and technical material of Bertram Derthona: the elegant image maintains a strong link with the traditional company logo. In the center stands the basketball, on which a stylized black Lion has been affixed, while below there is a black D, inside which there is an orange B, on a white background.
The basketball, the Lion and DB, three elements that represent and identify Derthona have been included in this new logo, which oscillates between tradition and renewal, with a modern shape that looks to the future. A symbol that the Lions will carry around Italy during the 2019/20 season, wearing it on their clothing and on the new playing uniforms.
The branding of the playing uniforms and technical material of the Lions was created by Diego Chiaudani (Alchimie studio), who explains how ʺthe version of the Derthona Basket brand designed for the technical material of players and staff is defined by us as no words, to distinguish it from the official logo. There are no writings, as the idea is to give greater visibility to the lion written on the basketball and the DB monogram. This choice aims to enhance the vision of these distinctive characters from a distance from which it would not be possible to read the writing inserted inside a logo. The official brand is and will always be used in various contexts, including the institutional one.
