'Students in the square - Sport can change the world': the new 'PiantiAMO il futuro' event in Tortona, Castelnuovo and Voghera

Over three thousand students in the square in Tortona, Castelnuovo Scrivia and Voghera, hubs of the daily activity of Bertram Derthona and Autosped Castelnuovo and Olympia Voghera, partners of the project. A new major event within the framework of 'We plant the future', which for years has been promoting and collecting all the initiatives born from the union between the companies and the local schools and promoted by Riccoboni Holding, partner of the initiative since its inception. This morning, students from schools of all levels gathered in their respective cities with the aim of promoting and representing - according to their interpretation and point of view - the positive values ​​that only the world of sport can transmit, in a strong and direct way.

'Students in the streets - Sport can change the world', the claim chosen by the clubs and schools to summarize a day in which the works - visual, scenic, singing and vocal - were created and presented by the boys and girls in anticipation of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, which will take place on April 6th and which, already last year, has been identified as one of the most important stages in the development of 'We plant the future'.

Today's day, accompanied in its entirety by music, opened in the three squares (Piazza Duomo in Tortona and Voghera, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in Castelnuovo) with the reading a message of thanks and openness from a student, which was followed by greetings from the institutions. Mayor Federico Chiodi in Tortona, the Deputy Mayor and Councillor Simona Virgilio and the Deputy Mayor Paola Pisa in Voghera and Castelnuovo they inaugurated a lineup of interventions truly rich in content, with the aim of raising students' awareness of the identified theme. It also intervened in Castelnuovo Paola Isetta, councilor for public education, and the councilor for youth policies was present Gaia Breglia.

The President spoke for Bertram Derthona Marco Picchi in Tortona and the CEO Ferencz Bartocci in Voghera, the General Manager for Autosped Castelnuovo Alice Pedrazzi in Castelnuovo and for the Olympia the President Stefano Barbieri in Voghera. The interventions of his Excellency, the Bishop Monsignor, were precious and interesting. Guido Marini in Tortona, Don Cristiano Orezzi – Parish Priest of the Cathedral and Director of the youth pastoral diocese – in Voghera, of the school director Gaetano Mallia in Castelnuovo and the Carabinieri Commander, the Captain Domenico Lavigna in Tortona.

Once this first institutional part was concluded, representatives of the city's schools alternated on the natural stages of the three squares. In particular, the following schools created works and contributed to the day:

Castelnuovo: Lower Valle Scrivia Comprehensive Institute

To enrich the day, the presence in the squares of the players of the first teams of Bertram Derthona and Autosped Castelnuovo, who were introduced and interacted with the students throughout the day, and of coaches Marco Ramondino (head coach of Bertram Derthona), of coach Nino Molino (head coach of Autosped Castelnuovo) and coaches Luca Ansaloni (Technical manager of the youth sector of Bertram Derthona and head coach of the Under 19 Eccellenza).

The interventions were moderated by Benedetta Abbruzzese, Communications Director of Bertram Derthona, in Voghera, from Chiara Daffonchio, Marketing Director of the Club, in Tortona, and from Paolo De Persis, Communications Manager of the Derthona Basketball Lab, in Castelnuovo.

The contribution of the technical and organizational staff, and of Bertram Derthona's collaborators, was fundamental for the setting up of the squares and the distribution of the flags, created in collaboration with the sponsor nutkao, and flyers with discounts for kids to attend Bertram Derthona's next home match, scheduled for Sunday 16 April at 18pm against Germani Brescia.

At the end of the presentations, the morning ended to the rhythm of music, before the outflow of students from the three squares covered by the event. It was a new opportunity, and a further demonstration, of the strength of the territory and of the partnerships between its excellences, in the name of 'We plant the future': Thursday 6 April, on the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, the video with the most significant moments of today will be published.
