ʺA meeting took place this afternoon at the Foro Italico, called by CONI president Giovanni Malagò, and attended by representatives of the Team Sports Federations, together with the General Secretary Carlo Mornati.

  3. to comply with the point described above, the Government is asked to issue a specific Prime Ministerial Decree that can surpass the current one currently valid;
  4. to ask the Regions, while respecting constitutional autonomy, to align the individual ordinances with the decrees of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in order not to create divergent applications of the same matter in the various territories;
  5. the Government is also asked to also include the sports sector, both professional and amateur, in the announced economic support plan that can compensate for the inconveniences and emergencies that Italian sport has faced so far with responsibility and a sense of duty, renouncing in some cases details to carry out regular activities without the possibility of recovery in the coming weeks due to the specific temporality of the events.

President Malagò has been delegated by everyone to inform the President of the Council of Ministers, Giuseppe Conte, and the Minister for Youth Policies and Sport, Vincenzo Spadafora, on the results of the meeting today.

CONI also recalls that international competitions, both for clubs and national teams, do not fall within the jurisdictional availability of the Italian National Olympic Committee and therefore cannot be regulated by today's decisions.
