Cantù Youth Project, of Reyer Venice, Virtus Pallacanestro Roseto. These are the opponents of Bertram YachtsTortona in the qualifying round of National Under 17 Excellence Final, scheduled from Monday 20th to Sunday 26th June a Mantova with the presence of the 16 best teams in Italy and the 2021/22 scudetto up for grabs.
This is the outcome of the draw which took place today and which included the team coached by Luca Ansaloni in Group D, where the Bianconeri champions of Piedmont and Liguria will face the 4th placed team from Lombardy, the 2nd place team from Veneto and the champions from Abruzzo. Unlike Derthona - one of the six direct qualifiers for the Italian tournament together with Fulgor Fidenza, Stella Azzurra Roma, Varese Academy, Firenze Academy and Orange1 Bassano - all their opponents had to overcome the obstacle of the Play-offs a few days ago, where Cantù got the better of the double match against College Basketball Borgomanero, Venezia prevailed over Robur et Fides Varese and Roseto beat Virtus Siena.
For Bertram the debut it is expected Monday 20 at 16:30 against PGC Cantu to the Tea Arena di Curtatone (MN). The calendar of his subsequent group matches will be determined based on the result of the match against the Brianza team. The first-placed teams in each of the four groups will be admitted directly to the quarter-finals, the second and third-placed teams will be admitted to the play-offs, the winners of which will also enter the quarter-finals, with the bottom teams from the groups immediately eliminated. The second and third-placed teams in the group of the Juventus Lions will face each other in a cross-match with the third and second-placed teams from Group C, made up of Orange1 Bassano, One Team Basket Forlì, Firenze Academy and Svincolati Milazzo.
In addition to the Tea Arena, the Derthona matches will also be held at Pala Sguaitzer of Mantua, where all the play-offs and quarter-finals will also be played, while the semi-finals and finals will be played at Grano Padano Arena of the Lombard city.
