Youth sector: Derthona starts again winning
First official match, after over a year, for the Derthona Basket youth sector teams: the under 18 Silver team coached by Paolo De Ros took to the field. On the morning of Sunday 14 March, the young Lions were busy on the Moncalieri pitch, on the opening day of the qualifying Group D.
A convincing success, arriving with a score of 25-110 at the final siren, and above all the pleasure of returning to the parquet after such a long period of absence. ̋Coming back to play was a great emotion – says Giulio Lombardi, team captain – and we were also happy with the final result of the match. In the next few weeks we will return to the gym, in compliance with current provisions and protocols because it is really important to be able to share these moments on the playing field.
Derthona's youth sector was thus able to resume its journey with a victory, which was interrupted in February 2020 due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Below is the Juventus scoreboard:
