Sixth place for the Under 13s at the Borgomanero and Arona Tournament
Sixth place for the Juventus Under 13 Elite team, coached by Andrea Fanaletti, at the Borgomanero and Arona International Tournament. The Lions passed the first phase obtaining successes against Vigevano and the hosts of Arona, surrendering instead to Caserta on the second day of the event.
In the second phase Derthona played a good match against Bra, showing steps forward from both an offensive and defensive point of view, but surrendered 44-35 at the final siren. The Bianconeri then finished the tournament in sixth place, winning first against the Polish side Piotrowka and then losing against the Savigliano Gators (5th-6th place in the final) 38-46.
In addition to the Bertram Derthona athletes, three boys from Nuova Olympia Voghera also participated in the tournament, proving the relationship and collaboration that has existed between the two companies for years. The young Lions, in addition to the improvements shown on the parquet, demonstrated great cohesion and team spirit during the event.
