New stop for the Gulliver Derthona, which in the recovery of the tenth day of Serie B Interregional Conference North Tedeschi Sansebasket lost on the court at Impresa Tedeschi. The match ended 73-65 in Cremona, with the Bianconeri forced to chase for much of the match.
After a strong start, with Derthona taking an early lead, the Bianconeri succumbed to the physicality of the home team, who mounted a powerful counter run that gave them a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second period, Coach Talpo's team shifted gears: increased intensity and defensive focus allowed the Bianconeri to recover almost all of the deficit, regaining contact. However, five points conceded in the final 30 seconds brought Cremona back within striking distance, setting the score at 38-32 at halftime.
After returning from the locker room, Sansebasket dictated the pace: Gulliver struggled to find the basket and conceded too much to their opponents, who even jumped to a 19-point lead with just a few minutes left. Tortona, however, refused to give up and attempted to rebound with a more aggressive defense, stealing valuable balls and closing the gap to within six (68-62 at 38'). However, a turnover, an offensive rebound, and a few misses from beyond the arc ultimately doomed Gulliver. The match ended 73-65 in favor of the home team.
