Gulliver Supermercati Derthona also won the return derby against Tre Colli Serravalle and moved to 8 points in the standings in Group A of the North-West Division of the Interregional Serie B, with 4 wins and 8 defeats.

The game at PalaCamagna in Tortona, the first of the second half of the season, is very balanced from the start, Gulliver remains ahead until the first siren, when Serravalle, led by 8 points by Montanari, shoots the arrow to overtake. The first quarter ends with the score tied at 20. In the second, the home team takes control of the game, especially thanks to the good performances of Korlatovic and Aprile (in the archive photo), who help Tortona to go into the locker rooms ahead at 36-33.

Upon returning to the court, the start was characterized by Pieropan's 4 points that brought Serravalle back in the lead, but coach Ansaloni's boys regained the inertia and also closed the third quarter with a lead of 55-47.

Serravalle tries to recover, closes the gap (57-52), but the two consecutive triples by Nicolò “Jimmy” Gatti, making his debut in the Derthona jersey after a year of absence from the fields, extend the Gulliver margin to 63-52, with 5 minutes to go. Despite some shooting errors by the Tortona team, Serravalle is no longer able to worry the opponents, who close on the final 69-61. A success that keeps alive the hopes of positioning themselves in the first half of the standings and avoiding the Play-in Out round, while leaving Serravalle increasingly last with 4 points.

The next match for Gulliver will be on Saturday 7 December at 21pm away on the Basket 7 Laghi Gazzada court.
