Interregional Serie B, Gulliver Derthona in pole position in the Play-In Silver: 1st place in the standings after sixth place at the end of the first phase
After the first phase of the Interregional Serie B championship ended with a painless defeat on the field of group winner Robur Basket Saronno (92-58), Gulliver Supermercati Derthona is preparing for the second phase after finishing Division A of the North-West Conference in 6th place in the standings with a record of 12 wins and 10 losses, a position that has already assured them months in advance of permanence in the fourth national senior tournament and inclusion in the Play-In Silver . In the Play-In Silver, the black and white team will face the teams ranked from fifth to eighth in Division B of the same conference, Dany Basket Quarrata , Basketball Club Lucca , Spezia Basket Club and Scuola Basket Arezzo , over the eight scheduled matchdays in a home-and-away format. Starting in first place with the same number of points as the Tortona team will be Quarrata and Lucca, followed by Spezia, Gallarate and Borgomanero with six points, further back is Campus Varese with four, while Arezzo will close the standings with two. The eight teams will go after the top two final places that will ensure qualification for the playoffs for promotion to the National Serie B together with the top six ranked teams of the Play-In Gold , in which the teams that placed in the top four of the two Divisions participate, namely Saronno, Pall.
