Gulliver Supermercati Derthona was defeated in the match that took place on Friday evening, in the Cittadella dello Sport “Marcellino e Pietro Gavio” in Tortona, against Magic Oleggio Basket, valid for the sixth day of Division A of the North-West Conference of the Interregional Series B.
A slow start for coach Ansaloni's boys who immediately find themselves down in double figures with the score. The second quarter starts on a different foot for the Tortona team, who put together a partial of 10-3 managing to get considerably closer with the score, thus going into the locker rooms at -3.

Coach Luca Ansaloni 's post-game comment : " Our game didn't start very well, with a lot of defensive lapses, allowing our opponents a lot of shots. In the second quarter, we managed to close the gap, getting back on track, creating plenty of chances, and bringing the game back to parity. Upon returning to the court, we continued to perform well, even though we could have done better with the score. In the final quarter, however, we lacked clarity; some of our key players lacked clarity, and we took difficult shots, lowering our shooting percentages and creating confusion on offense. And when we relaxed on defense, too, Oleggio created a break, and they were able to take home the victory."
