Serie A2 Old Wild West: the 2020/21 championship starts on November 15th
The FIP Federal Council was held today (Thursday 6 August 2020) in Rome (CONI Hall of Honour, Foro Italico).
Among the main topics covered, the starting dates of the next men's and women's championships in Serie A, A2 and B.
The Federal Council has fully ratified the proposals received from Legabasket Serie A, Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro and Lega Basket Femminile for the formation of the groups of the next Serie A, Serie A2, Serie B and Serie A1 Femminile Championships.
The men's Serie A championship will begin on 27 September, while the Serie A2 and B championships will begin on 15 November. The women's A1 and A2 series will start on October 4th.
President Petrucci complimented the work done by the Leagues both in the autonomous composition of the groups and for what has been done for the recognition of the tax credit for which government responses are awaited.
