Second place for the Eaglets at the Regional Jamboree
Important result for the four players – Censurini, Maruffo, Bocchio and Zanardi – of the Juventus Aquilotti team who, included in the team of the provinces of Alessandria and Asti, took part in the category Regional Jamboree scheduled for yesterday, Sunday 26 May, at the PalaCollegno.
The provincial team, made up of players who played in the competitive Aquilotti Trophy during the season, prevailed in three matches, beating Novara, Biella/Vercelli/Verbania and the Gazzelle di Torino, losing only against the Turin team.
At the end of the matches, the final ranking of the event was outlined, which saw the triumph of the Midtown Area (Turin and Gazzelle) by basket difference over the South Conference (Alessandria and Cuneo). In third place in the ranking is the North District, made up of the teams from Novara and Biella/Vercelli/Verbania.
For the four young Lions it was an important day in which they were able to compete with top-level opponents and showcase the progress made during the season.
