Good indications for Bertram Yachts Derthona in the Treviglio scrimmage, which precedes the match against Reale Mutua Torino – first day of the Girone Verde of the Supercoppa scheduled for Sunday 11 October at 18.30 pm at the PalaOltrepò – in an intense match played on equal terms for its entire duration. Traditional quintet for coach Ramondino in the last pre-season outing before the start of the Supercoppa Centenario: in the first minutes of the match Fabi's initiatives pushed the Lions to the lead (8-12 at 4') forcing coach Cagnardi to stop the game. In the subsequent stages of the match Cannon and Sanders push Derthona to their maximum advantage in the match: in the 10th minute the scoreboard reads 21-30. In the second half, Treviglio started better, putting in good defensive pressure and finding quick baskets: after three minutes the score was 8-3. The home team found baskets from all the players used and continued to lead in the half, winning the half 24-13 also thanks to three-point baskets from Pepe and Taddeo. In the third quarter BCC took off better, finding good team solutions and leading 11-5 after three minutes. In the following moments, the team coached by Cagnardi played with intensity in both halves of the pitch, reaching a double-digit margin thanks to Reati's three-point play (23-12 in the 8th minute). A 0-7 scored by Fabi and Sanders brought Bertram closer, who closed the quarter with a score of 27-25 following Mascolo's free throws. The last quarter begins with a balance between the two teams, before BCC creates the first break (9-2 at 4'). It is then Graziani, with a great defensive impact, who allows Derthona to get back into contact: at mid-half the score is 9-8. After the overtaking by Mascolo, Treviglio reacts with an 8-0 Pepe-Sarto: in the 7th minute the Lombards lead 17-10. In the final, the Lions once again come into contact with Gazzotti's play: the quarter ends with Treviglio's success 19-17.

Thus coach Ramondino at the end of the match: ʺIt was a match in which Treviglio showed an aggressiveness and physical presence that led us to make several errors and many turnovers. Our execution of games was cumbersome and we struggled to be consistent in defense. Clear ideas have emerged on what we will need to work on in the coming days; we have to make sure we get to the start of the championship by eliminating the many ups and downs seen in this scrimmageʺ.
