Sauze d'Oulx withdraws: Campori, Trunic and Radunic join forces
Bertram Derthona's pre-season retreat began this morning with the transfer from Tortona to Sauze d'Oulx: until 25 August the Lions will train on high ground to prepare for the first year of Serie A in their history.
In the first days of the season, the players arrived in the city to undergo medical examinations and tests agreed with the club's medical-physical staff. There are three absent from the pre-season training camp: Jamarr Sanders, still in America due to bureaucratic issues, Jalen Cannon, in the USA after contracting Covid-19, and Joseph Mobio, involved in the Ivory Coast rally in preparation for Afrobasket 2021 which will start on August 24th.
Following these absences, to maintain a high quality of training camp, the Club has added three players for this initial phase of the season: Luca Campori, guard born in 1999, returning from two seasons at Unieuro Forlì, Lazar Trunic, Serbian guard trained in Italy born in 2000, in recent seasons at Vanoli Cremona e Matej Radunic, a center born in 1996 who concluded 2020/21 at Fortitudo Roma (C Gold) and who at the beginning of last season was joined by Unahotels Reggio Emilia for the pre-season training camp.
Today the first training sessions begin: Bertram Derthona's 2021/22 season begins.
