Derthona Basket announces that today the athlete Riccardo Cattapan underwent surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee, following the injury suffered in the match against Dolomiti Energia Trentino on Wednesday 8 September.
The operation was successfully performed by Doctor Raffaele Cortina, Doctor of the men's national basketball team, as indicated by the company's medical staff. The surgical treatment was necessary in light of the instrumental findings to which the athlete has been subjected in recent days.
