A decidedly poor evening in shooting forced Derthona to stop, defeated 92-69 at PalaFacchetti by Remer Treviglio. From the start, the Bianconeri accumulated a double-digit gap (21-9) created by the different scoring percentages, especially from distance (at 10', Treviglio 4/5, Derthona 0/10). Driven by the baskets of Marino (7) and the former Roseto Marini (6), Remer can reach the double-digit lead after 8', and extend it to 27-12 in the 13th minute, signed by Sorokas' three-point play .
A timeout by coach Cavina shakes the Lions, who react (32-20 at 16', 34-24 at 18') while continuing to argue with the rim (28% from the field, with 0/20 from three points), and close the first half of the match at 37-26.
Derthona forces a new assault upon returning from the locker rooms, when the three-point shot finally smiles on the Bianconeri: Garri, after 21 team errors, is imitated by Greene and Ricci, for the 50-39 which in the 25th minute keeps the team alive Juventus hopes of returning to the match. Sollazzo responds for Treviglio, with two successful transitions, and above all Marini, who allows the home team to close the third quarter of the game at 61-46. Treviglio tries the definitive escape with Pecchia at the start of the fourth quarter, Greene with a triple and Mascherpa, with a three-point play, try to keep the Bianconeri in their wake (68-53 at 32'). Mascherpa still has the ball in his hands of the possible -11, but the iron mocks him once again; on the turnaround in front Marino scores a three-pointer from the tip, then repeating from the corner on the next possession.
