Ramon Galloway is the Guard of Derthona's All-Time Quintet in Serie A2
The final poll to decree the Best Derthona Guard in Serie A2 ended a few minutes ago, who will join Marco Spissu in the Ideal Quintet of the last six years of the Juventus Club's history. It was triumphant Ramon Galloway, thanks to the preferences of the fans expressed on www.derthonabasket.it – the official website of the Club – and on the Derthona Basket app.
Created with the precious and timely collaboration of Gruppodigit, which this year joined the great team of partners of Bertram Yachts Derthona, the final phase of the survey saw hundreds of fans vote to decree the best guard in history: Galloway was imposed on Phil Greene IV and Derrick Marks.
Arriving in Tortona in the summer of 2014, Ramon Galloway was among the main protagonists of the first A2 tournament played by Derthona Basket in its history: with his 14.9 points and 4.7 rebounds on average he led the team then coached by Demis Cavina to one step away from qualifying for the playoffs.
In the next few hours the contest will start to elect the best small forward of the Club in A2, who will complete the external department of the All-Time Quintet: on the list for a place are Mirza Alibegovic, Melvin Johnson and Leone Gioria.
