Gathering for the new season
The Derthona Basket gathering in view of the 2015/2016 season was held in the afternoon in front of a large audience. After the traditional formalities and delivery of the technical material, the president Roberto Tava took the floor and after a quick introduction of the company for the benefit of the new arrivals, he reiterated everyone's commitment to making the kids feel at ease in the city, remembering to have chosen these players from a human rather than a technical point of view.
It was up to general manager Marco Picchi to continue by underlining the efforts and desire to respect all the commitments made. Picchi confirmed that he believes a lot in people before the players but that at the same time he expects tangible thanks in the form of maximum commitment to obtain the best possible result on the pitch.
Sports director Valeriano D'Orta illustrated the new team regulations, recalling the importance of mutual respect within the locker room and beyond.
Last but not least, CEO Luigino Fassino greeted the players, focusing on how lucky they can consider themselves to be doing as a job what for everyone is a game, but for this very reason he expects the maximum effort to respect all the fans in practice.
Coach Cavina, before the first training session on the pitch, was once again amazed by the enthusiasm conveyed by this square. “All the staff and all the players realized the passion of this city. Without wanting to make any proclamations, the promise I feel like making is that we will immediately do everything possible to repay this affection."

They were joined for the preparation by the young Markus, Frattallone, Tava, Riva and Gay.
