The season ticket campaign continues
It continues with great enthusiasm among the fans season ticket campaign for the 2015/2016 season of Derthona Basket .
A few days after the start of the season ticket campaign, the 200 mark was exceeded and at this point we are firmly aiming for 300 season ticket holders.
These numbers are testimony to the great enthusiasm that can be felt around the team and every day the supporters purchase new season tickets thanks also to the club's decision to also number the side stands.
The calendar for the new season has also been released. The championship will begin on 4 October with a prestigious away match in Rome against Virtus who have been relegated to A2, then two home matches against Trapani and Omegna, then a trip to Sicily to visit Agrigento and already in the fifth match the long-awaited derby against Casale Monferrato. In the two midweek rounds scheduled for this year Tortona will face Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto at home and away.
We remind you that the teams are divided into two groups, east and west, of 16 teams who meet each other with home and away matches. At the end of the qualifying phase, the teams classified from 1st to 8th place in each group will enter the play offs; the teams classified in 14th and 15th place in each group will enter the play outs to decree relegation to the 2016/2017 B series; the two 16th-placed teams in each group will be relegated to Serie B.
For the playoffs, the round of 5, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final are played as the best of 1 games, with the following calendar: game 2, game 5 and possible game 14 are played at the home of the team that obtained the best ranking at the end of the qualifying phase while for the play-outs the teams classified in 15th and 5th place in each group will access the play-outs which are played in the best of 1 matches, with the following calendar: game 2, game 5 and eventual game XNUMX will be played at home of the team that achieved the best ranking at the end of the qualifying phase
