Second scrimmage of the season for Bertram Derthona (without Pullazi and forced to give up Gaines a few minutes into the match) on the pitch of Vanoli Cremona, winner of the Italian Cup and playoff semi-finalist in Serie A last season: the Bianconeri play at level with their opponents for the entire duration of the match, in which the score was reset to zero after each quarter. Coach Ramondino chooses Tavernelli, Gaines, Martini, Gražulis and De Laurentiis to start the match: the first quarter is characterized by the great balance on the pitch between the two teams, who put great intensity on the parquet. In the final Vanoli extends to 22-16 with which the first half ends. Even in the second period Bertram puts physicality and intensity on the field in defense and shows good offensive patterns, playing on par with the opponents who prevail 17-16. In the first minutes of the third set, Vanoli increased the score, before the Bianconeri - thanks to growth in both halves of the pitch - came back into contact: the home team won 22-18. In the last quarter the balance on the pitch remains between the two teams, which showcase the search for joint solutions: Cremona wins the section with a score of 20-16. Bertram's next match will be on Saturday 7 September 2019 at 20.00 pm at PalFerraris against Junior Casale, a match valid for the 1st day of the 2019 Old Wild West LNP Super Cup.

Thus assistant coach Talpo at the end of the match: ʺWe are satisfied with the work done today: it was a different commitment compared to the first outing with Lugano, both in terms of technical and physical characteristics. There are defensive and offensive adaptations to improve in these weeks of work that await us, but the required steps forward have been seen..
