Pablo Bertone in the chair at the Liceo 'G. Peano' of Tortona
The link with Italy, the choice to go to the United States of America to play basketball and study, the cultural differences between America and Europe. This and much more was discussed this morning, Wednesday 17 April, in an exciting meeting that brought about fifty students from the Peano High School in Tortona in front of an exceptional teacher, the Bertram Derthona guard Pablo Bertone.
The Argentine made himself available to the kids for about an hour in which he talked about his beginnings in basketball, his career and his passions. Among the many topics covered also life in an American college, the long journeys made to face the away games and his relationship with Italy, where he arrived last year when he played in the Vuelle Pesaro shirt.
For the students it was an important opportunity to learn more about the life and some curiosities of a basketball player, who arrived in Tortona in January. Bertram Derthona would like to thank the Leo Club Tortona for the precious logistical help provided in organizing today's meeting on the occasion of self-management at the Liceo 'G. Peano' of Tortona.
