Having arrived in Italy last season, Pablo has only played in Serie A for Pesaro and Varese. Tortona represents his first experience in the A2 league, which features a "very high level of play, as several teams have highly experienced players on their rosters who have played all over the world ." The increase in promotions has certainly made the league even more competitive, as it has served as a "stimulus for some teams to convince some players to move up to A2: without the increased number of promotions, these players would probably have chosen a different tournament. The league is very competitive, I am ready and happy to begin this experience ."
Having arrived in Tortona to a team with a complex standings situation, Bertone believes it's important to "work every day as if it were the first, without being influenced by what has happened up to this point. Although soccer is the leading sport in both countries, in Italy the arenas are always full and the fans follow the teams with great passion. In Argentina, they haven't reached this level yet, even though basketball has made enormous strides. As for Italy and Spain, however, they are similar in that they are leagues full of talented players and young people who want to build a successful career in Europe or America: the level of competition in both countries is very high."
