Tortona. After almost two weeks of work, yesterday was Derthona's first outing of the season with the French club Hyeres Toulon, newly promoted to the French Pro A. Coach Cavina chooses the quintet with Cosey, Green IV, Reati, Garri and Giampaolo Ricci. Although it is the end of August, the Tortona public responds well, there are around two hundred spectators at the PalaCamagna. The Lions apply themselves defensively against the greater physicality of the French and in attack they rely above all on perimeter shooting. It ends 77-64 for Toulon (20-24, 13-19, 18-18, 13-16). Next friendly match on Wednesday at 18,30pm with Varese at PalaCamagna, while on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd September quadrangular match in Cortina with Cortina Basket Week, Scaligera Verona, Virtus Bologna and Universo Treviso Basket.
